Here is everything you need to know to get started.
The smart menu drops down right below the header when you scroll to the top of the feed.
Type any word, neighbor's name, or phrase into the search box to instantly filter the feed and find exactly what you're looking for.
Tap any of the category buttons to filter the feed. All Posts resets the feed. Alerts shows urgent board notices. Events shows calendar items.
Typing specific hashtags into your post will automatically organize them into the correct categories so neighbors can quickly filter for them.
Selling an old kayak or giving away firewood? Include #ForSale, #Free, or #ISO (In Search Of) anywhere in your post text. The app will automatically catch these and display your post when users click the Market filter button.
Did a dock float away or a dog wander off? Include #Lost or #Found in your message. These posts will automatically be routed to the Lost & Found category when neighbors filter the feed.
Paying your annual Property Owners Association dues is now built directly into the app.
Tap the green Pay Dues button located in the sliding search menu. A secure form will slide up where you can update your directory information, choose your magazine preferences, and securely pay via Square.
When you see a dark blue anchor attached to a neighbor's avatar, it means that household has officially paid their BFLPOA membership dues for the year!
Share updates and interact with your neighbors.
Tap the floating blue + button in the bottom right corner of your screen to write a post. You can tap "Add photos" to attach multiple images to your message.
If a post has photos, tap any image to open the Vertical Gallery. From there, you can scroll through the images, leave comments on individual photos, or tap a photo again to pinch-to-zoom.
If you see a post by a neighbor and want to see *only* their posts, just tap their bold name above the message. The app will automatically filter the entire feed to show only their history!
